Effective July 2026
By downloading or using Belong Spain you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Belong Spain is made by Jordi Fakiani López, a sole trader based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Belong Spain is a personal tracker. It helps you see your own distance to Spanish nationality by organising the information you enter against published rules, and it splits that distance into the part you control and the part you do not.
This is the most important term. Belong Spain is an information tool, not a lawyer and not an authority. The estimates, dates and statuses it shows are based on published rules as of a stated date. Those rules change, sometimes with little notice and sometimes in ways that affect applications already in progress. Belong Spain can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Nothing in the app is legal advice and nothing in it is a promise about whether or when you will qualify for nationality or residence. Before you make any decision, verify your situation with the responsible authority. In Spain that is the Directorate General for Legal Certainty and Attestation, the DGSJFP under the Ministry of Justice, which decides nationality applications, your Registro Civil for the file itself, the Oficinas de Extranjería for residence matters, and the Instituto Cervantes for the CCSE and DELE tests. You can also speak with a qualified adviser or an immigration lawyer. You use Belong Spain at your own risk and you are responsible for any decision you make.
Belong Spain is provided as is and as available. We do not warrant that it is accurate, complete, current or free of errors, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted. The rules it reflects are summaries of complex law and they are not a substitute for the official sources.
To the extent the law allows, Jordi Fakiani López is not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of Belong Spain or from any reliance on the information it shows, including any decision about residence, nationality, travel, work or money. Your sole remedy if you are unhappy with the app is to stop using it and cancel any subscription.
Use Belong Spain for your own personal, lawful purposes. Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app or its content.
Belong Spain, its name, design and content are owned by Jordi Fakiani López. These terms do not give you any ownership of the app. The announcements shown on the News tab are official publications of Spain's state gazette, the Boletín Oficial del Estado, obtained through the BOE's public feeds and open data service and reused as public sector information with attribution, and each one links to the original at boe.es. Belong Spain selects and displays these publications but is not their author, and the authentic text is always the one published by the BOE.
We may update these terms. If we do, we will update this page and the effective date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the law of Denmark. If you use Belong Spain as a consumer, this does not remove the protection of any mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
